HI THERE
So much of what we touch is design, which is influenced by modern culture, art, psychology, and religions. Conveniently, these subjects are my passions. There’s often symbolism in my logos, and very precise reasons for why I suggest certain colors or fonts (though I may not tell you this unless you ask). Design is literally the summation everything around us. It’s thoughtful and important. I’m so lucky to do what I do.
My work allows me to to continue to be hugely present in my children’s lives (though they’re certainly old enough now where I’m not constantly “out” because of illness and preschool half days, etc.) and also to be a role model for the very artistic, thoughtful young people I’m raising. It’s not uncommon for them to watch over my shoulder as I work on a logo or layout, and to state their opinions on various items.

MY APPROACH
Intelligent, intuitive design with each element set forth with intention based on research and deep knowledge of the client and their field. There is much more than just making things pretty-it’s about knowing your audience, your competitors, and those who are at the top of the field and why. It’s about knowing what venues will reach your audience. It’s about not wasting anyone’s time or money on items that just don’t make sense. One client might need to advertise on the web while another does so in print publications. What type of social media works best for you– Instagram? Facebook? Or does LinkedIn make the most sense?
